Crazy World

Living in this crazy world,

A grown woman, a little girl

What has become of my home town

Girls are stabbed, mosques torn down

People raging, tearing us down, what’s the point?

These thugs with no purpose have some front.

What is the need for all this hatred

Frightened children, scared neighbours

At the end of it all it makes us afraid

Violence, fires, doors are shuttered

It should be about grief, not all of this malice

It should be about the girls, Elsie, Bebe and Alice.
